Much Needed Update

WOW! It has been a long time since i have blogged! We really haven't been up to much lately but still have managed to take a lot of pictures. Christmas went well! We got a lot of good things. Krew got really sick right before Christmas. He got a bad cold and it went right to his chest. It was so sad! He had the hardest time breathing. We went to the dr a lot that week and took home breathing treatments for Krew. We had to do them 3 times a day. Krew was such a sport! It takes about 8min for all the medicine to go through and he would just sit their and play. He really is such a good baby :) Krew is almost 11 months and I just can't believe it. He is getting such a personality and an attitude! I still can't get enough of him!

When he gets out of the bath his hair looks like this! I am so sad though cause his hair is starting to go flat!

babysitting/halloween

Last week we had the opportunity to babysit for a family in our ward. They have 2 sweet little girls 4 and 8. We did a lot of fun things with them. On Monday we went up to fat cats to bowl. The girls had such a fun time. On friday Caleb, Krew and I went to the PG home game. On Sat. we got tickets to cornbellies and took the kids. It was SO fun. Krew had so much fun. There was so many fun things to do their. Then the following Sat(halloween) we dressed Krew up as a tiger, he was tired so we couldn't paint his face or anything, then took him to 3 houses Stones(fam that we live with), my fam and Calebs fam. It was a fun short night.

On Saturday we got some family pics taken. Claire Thorley took them for us. She is so good! They turned out so cute and I am so happy with them! Originally I wanted to just do pics of Krew since he is now 7 months, but I figured we might as well take a few of the 3 of us. Their are so many to choose from! Now you will notice that Krew's hair is standing straight up, this is just how it is everyday! We tried doing so many different things with it but it just didn't look like him! So we stuck with the straight up:)

Vegas Baby

VEGAS!!

We had the best weekend! Really we went to St George and only Vegas for a day, but its was more fun to say vegas. We drove down thursday night, Krew was so good. He slept most of the drive which made for a really pleasant drive. We went down with the cute family we live with. On friday we went down to Vegas. Again Krew was so good! We went to lunch and walked around the mall for the afternoon. Caleb's aunt and uncle live in Vegas so we dropped Krew off with them for the evening and went to Phantom. It was so good! We walked the strip and went to dinner at Cheese Cake Factory. SO good! After that we picked up Krew and drove back to St Goerge. We made it back at around 2:45. Once again Krew slept the whole way! Saturday was the marathon (which was really the whole reason we went down their) Both of my parents ran the marathon. They are so amazing I can't believe it. This is about the 100th marathon my mom has run, but its only my dads 2nd. I was so proud of both of them, they are such an example to me! Anyways I am really into beading watch bands. It is so fun to do. So when all of the men left for priesthood all us girls beaded! So could of spent hours doing it. Sunday we watched conference then packed up and drove home. Once again Krew was so good on the way home. Thanks heavens for the iphone and youtube. We put on baby einstein for Krew and he just sat their. I am so blessed to have such a good baby!!! Fun fun weekend. Can't wait to do it again :)

Now it may sound like I am complaining, but we really had a good time.

We also realized that were are only going to have one child for a LONG LONG time!!

We had the opportunity to babysit a stinkin cute little 2 year old for the weekend.

We had lots of fun but were definately tired!

Wow! All I can say is that computers SUCK! Ours crashed of course and I lost all of our pictures! I'm so upset about this! The only thing that I am ok with is that my mom takes a million pictures...so she has just as many of Krew as I had!

Krew is now 6 months. I say this everytime but I can't believe how fast time flies. He is still such a good baby! Sleeps through the night, eats like a champ, started sitting up...all the usual. I love having him in my life. Here are just some pictures of the past month...

5 Months

My little man is now 5 months. I can't believe it! He is such a sweet, good natured little boy. He is growing up so fast it makes me sad! I need him to stay a baby longer since its going to be 4 years till I have another one:( We started giving Krew rice cereal at night and he LOVES it. The first time I'm not so sure he swallowed any, but he is doing really good now!

Loving the rice cereal. He gets better every night. Man does it make a difference when he goes to sleep! He now sleeps from 9:15-7:00 a.m!!!!!

Lake Powell

Last week we had the opportunity to go to Powell with Caleb's family. We had such a good time! It was so warm, the water was the perfect temp and we had the perfect baby! He did such a good job during the days. He would take 4 hr naps! Night was sort of a different story but we still loved him! Caleb's dad just bought a new boat (i was totally slacking on the pictures this trip I couldn't believe it!) everyone pretty much wanted to surf the whole time and Caleb got really good at it. I TIRED, and got up, but kinda freaked out!!! We put Krew in the water twice and he cried everytime so he just stayed on the boat. Caleb's mom and older sister were awesome!! They would take Krew all day so I could go out on the boat. I have awesome in-laws!!

It made me so nervous when he drove! Not that I don't trust him, I just didn't feel like taking out a loan if anything happened!!!

4th of July/Lagoon

It is tradition on my side of the family to go to lagoon on the 4th. Usually we go when it opens, watch the fireworks when it gets dark, and stay till it closes. Unfortunately this year due to the economy, they didn't do fireworks! It was sad but we sure had a great time. We went up friday night to my aunts house in Centerville. We went to dinner then back home to watch the fireworks. The next morning we did the parade (well some of us stayed back since it was right in the middle of Krew's morning nap) then we headed up for the day at lagoon. The weather was perfect, the company was awesome (you can't beat family!!) and Krew was the PERFECT baby!! What more could you ask for... Here are some pics to capture the memories!

Of course the guys had a competition to see who could hit the hardest (my husband won it!!)

We probably spent an hour in the arcade and a good $20 on Deal or No Deal. We all take turns picking cases and screaming when things don't go our way.

Sitting by the fire and playing scramble on Caleb's iphone. For those of you with an iphone, I highly suggest this game. My aunt introduced us to t on friday and we have been playing it ever since. It is so fun and its also a free app!

The other morning when Krew woke up and I got him out of his bed, he had wiggled his arm right out of his pjs. I set him down to fix it, and I got all of these smiles from him. I wish I could squeeze him! I never knew I could love him this much!

Birth Certificate

Since Krew was born almost 3 1/2 months ago, I decided it was probably time to get Krew's birth certificate. Erica Kennedy and Anistyn came along to get Anistyn's too. We decided it wasn't worth taking two cars, since we wanted to be together so we smashed three car seats in the back of her car. They were such good babies. At one point Krew was crying and Kennedy leaned over his car seat and said, "Krew (she just learned how to say his name and it is so cute) stop!" Cute cute kids!

Krew is 3 months old! I can't believe how fast time flies! These are just some random pictures of the past couple weeks. He is getting so so big. We went to the Dr. and he is 12.14 lbs and

24 1/4 inches long. We finally moved to 3-6 month clothes and it made me so sad! He has just started to giggle and it cracks us up!

He is getting the biggest double chin it cracks me up! He is the happiest, best little boy in the world. Everytime I change his diaper he just looks up at me and smile! What else could a mom ask for! I love this little boy so much!!

Blessing Bliss

On Sunday we blessed Krew. It was such a special day! My mother in law found Caleb's cute little blessing outfit, so Krew got to wear it. It was so neat to have all of our family their. Caleb's grandma knows how to write in short hand so she wrote the blessing and know we have a copy of it. What a blessing it is to have a husband who is worthy to hold the priesthood and bless our sweet son.

We have tried SIX different pacifiers and not one will stay in Krew's mouth. I realize he sucks kinda funny but if anyone has anyother pacifier that stays in their babies mouth I would love to know!

Cabin Getaway

This last weekend Caleb, Krew and I got to go to my parents cabin in Timberlakes. It was our first little trip as a family. We had a great time. We borrowed all 5 Harry Potter's so we spent however many hours that is watching all of them! (good thing we have a newborn who eat and sleeps ALL day!)

A few days ago we took Krew's newborn pictures. He is now 7 weeks old, and weighs 10.6 pounds! He is huge! Alyssa Doman took these pictures for us. She did a fantastic job! I think I have the cutest son in the entire world! He was such a good boy for most of the pictures, by the end i think he even liked getting his picture taken. It was a lot of fun to do!

Bath Time

Krew loves the bath! Caleb and I think its so funny because he could be screaming and all we have to do is go into the bathroom and turn on the bath. When he was just a few weeks old the sound of the water would put him right to sleep. Now he just stops crying. Its like he is waiting till we put him in. I could probably leave him in for ever and he would just sit their. Its the funniest thing!

Easter Sunday was Krew's first week at church. He did such a good job and looked so dang cute. He was kind of fought over by the relief society sisters. It was really cute!

Conference Sunday

I love conference. We were able to watch it at Caleb's parents house with our good friends Boo, Alana and Cohen. I was happy it was a nice sunny day so we could take Krew outside. Since he has been born he has only been in the sun like twice. But he sure does like it.
